Description:
The HD-A509 Ink Rub Tester is a high-performance testing instrument designed to evaluate the abrasion resistance of surface coating layers on printed materials, including ink layers and photosensitive coatings. It is widely used in printing, packaging, labeling, and coating industries to analyze issues like poor abrasion resistance, ink layer falling off, and insufficient coating hardness on paper, cartons, labels, and other printed substrates.
This tester effectively identifies the causes of print defects such as smearing, transfer, and weak coating adhesion. It complies with international design standards ASTM D5264 and TAPPI T830, ensuring reliable and globally accepted test results for quality control and R&D labs.
The HD-A509 features a large touch screen control panel for quick data viewing, easy parameter setting, and user-friendly operation. The system supports four test functions: dry rub, wet rub, wet smear, and wet transfer, making it versatile for different ink and coating durability tests. It offers four different rub speeds of 21, 42, 85, and 106 cpm, allowing users to freely select the speed based on specific test requirements.
A unique structure with double station and arc reciprocating movement allows testing of the same or different samples simultaneously, improving efficiency. The rub pressure is fixed at 8.9 N / 2lb and rub times can be set from 0 to 999 cycles. The machine can test 1 to 2 specimens at a time.
Designed with intelligent features like power-down memory and buzzer prompts, the HD-A509 ensures data safety and user convenience. The instrument dimensions are 485mm L x 390mm W x 230mm H and net weight is 40kg. It operates on AC 220V, 50Hz power supply.
