Description:
The HD-A817 Pulp Beating Degree Tester is a Schopper-Riegler type instrument used to measure the beating degree or drainage resistance of all kinds of suspended pulp liquids with SR values less than 100°SR. It is essential equipment for paper mills, pulp labs, and research institutions to control pulp freeness and fiber quality.
Designed to comply with QB/T1054-98, GB/T3332-1982, and ISO 5267/1 standards, the tester ensures measurement accuracy and international consistency. The measurement range is 1-100°SR with 1°SR minimum scale resolution, giving precise control over pulp refining levels.
Operation is manual for economical material use and ease of control. Testing uses 1000ml of distilled water at 20±0.5°C, with a standardized draining time of 149±1s. The residual volume collected is 7.5-8ml, measured using the included measuring cylinders. The unit includes a copper net and rubber gasket to ensure proper filtration and sealing during each test.
With compact dimensions of 460×250mm, the HD-A817 fits easily on any lab bench. Standard accessories include 2 measuring cylinders, 1 copper net, 1 rubber gasket, and 1 frame.
By providing accurate SR° readings, the HD-A817 helps paper manufacturers optimize the beating/refining process. This directly impacts paper formation, strength, drainage rate, and final sheet quality, reducing production costs and material waste.
