Description:
The HD-A822-1 Brightness & Opacity Meter is a professional digital instrument designed to accurately measure whiteness, brightness, opacity, transparency, and color-related parameters of various materials. It is widely used in papermaking, printing, ceramics, chemical, textile printing & dyeing, building materials, food, salt, and other industries for strict quality control.
This meter uses an R457 blue light source to measure ISO brightness and Z whiteness, along with CIE whiteness, Gantz whiteness W10, and color cast value TW10. It can also detect the fluorescent whitening degree produced by fluorescent substances. The HD-A822-1 measures Hunter whiteness WH, yellowness YI, opacity OP, transparency T, light scattering coefficient S, light absorption coefficient A, and ink absorption value. It also analyzes color and chromatic aberration reflected by the object surface.
It delivers high indication accuracy with chromaticity coordinates up to 0.0001 and maintains stability within 30 minutes with s≤0.1 drift. Repeatability is excellent: Rx, Ry and Rz ≤0.10, and R457 value ≤0.10. The instrument accepts sample sizes with a test plane not less than φ30mm and thickness more than 40mm. Compact and durable, the machine size is 360×264×400mm and weight is 23kg, making it suitable for both lab and production environments.
