The HD-G809 Canadian Standard Freeness Tester is a precision laboratory instrument used to measure the drainage rate of water from pulp suspensions in the paper and pulp industry. The test result is expressed as Canadian Standard Freeness or CSF, which indicates the degree of beating or refining of pulp fibers. This tester is essential for controlling the pulping and papermaking process, as freeness directly affects paper formation, strength, and production efficiency.
This instrument is widely used in paper mills, pulp production plants, and scientific research institutes for inspection, process control, and laboratory experiments. It helps manufacturers determine pulp quality, refining effects, and drainage characteristics during paper making and pulping experiments.
The HD-G809 is designed according to TAPPI T227 standard. Key components include a durable pulp chamber for holding the pulp suspension, an inner tank for water collection, and a TAPPI T227 standard orifice made from 304 stainless steel for accurate and corrosion-resistant filtration. The stainless steel construction ensures long service life and reliable results.
The tester covers a measurement range of 0-1000 CSF, which covers all grades of pulp from highly refined to coarse pulp. It is suitable for testing pulp and composite fiber samples. The standard unit size is 300mm L x 1120mm W x 400mm H with a net weight of 57kg, providing a stable structure for consistent testing.
