The Forming Tube is a critical component for Vertical Form-Fill-Seal machines, designed to shape flat packaging film into a continuous tube for high-speed pouch formation. Manufactured by Saghir Engineering from food-grade stainless steel SS304, this forming tube ensures smooth film flow, precise bag dimensions, and reliable sealing performance for snacks, chips, candies, and other granular products like the Loonies packet shown.
Engineered with a polished surface and accurate collar geometry, it guides the packaging material evenly around the tube without wrinkles, creases, or misalignment. The split collar design allows quick film threading and easy size changeovers, reducing downtime during production. The sturdy mounting plate and support rods provide stable alignment with the shoulder and sealing jaws, which is essential for consistent vertical and horizontal seals at high speeds.
This forming tube is compatible with most VFFS machines and can be customized for different bag widths, lengths, and film types including BOPP, CPP, PE, and laminated structures.
