This Forming Tube for Gusset Bags by Saghir Engineering is a specialized component for VFFS machines designed to produce stand-up side gusset pouches. Unlike standard pillow pouches, gusset bags have folded side panels that create a flat base, allowing the pouch to stand upright on shelves. This forming tube is engineered with integrated side-folding collars that form both the main tube and the two side gussets simultaneously as the film passes over it.
Constructed from food-grade SS304 stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface, it ensures smooth film feeding and wrinkle-free gusset formation. The precision-machined shoulder and dual support plates maintain perfect alignment with the VFFS machine frame, which is critical for consistent gusset depth and symmetrical pouch shape. The robust tubular shaft guides product flow while the collar geometry creates sharp, clean side folds for a professional retail look.
